Well, according to the Super Ball Girls publisher, the next chapter is the last one of the manga. And I only have one thing to say.. the story turned into a huge mess after Eliza's death, with terrible writing/narrative execution and convenient plot devices to make the Ichi x Cherry pairing make sense in the end, when the protagonist forgot about her existence after changing bodies and only remembered her when he saw her in an advertisement. Now I understand why the last few chapters seemed so rushed and convenient, because they had already canceled the manga. It's a shame, maybe it could have been developed better if they had given it more time, but that wasn't the case. Now we'll have to wait and see what they do with the character of Sara, who was the main villain, as they'll surely come up with something nonsensical so that the ending isn't as bad as it's already destined to be.

At this point, all the main characters are nothing, because whether they like it or not, Eliza was present at the peak of the manga, where it revolved around the girls developing independently, being heroines and having REAL conflicts and villains (Satsuki and Sara). Everything went to shit when Eliza died, because all of that disappeared. There were no chapters dedicated to the girls' development, Sara became irrelevant (because there's only one chapter left until the end and her character will be reduced to nothing), Satsuki was whitewashed, and the protagonist disgustingly experienced being a woman with his friend and Satsuki. Anyway, I blame Cherry for all this (joke). Well, actually, it's not a joke if you think about it, it's all her fault, but whatever. I don't accept slander against Eliza when it was thanks to her that the manga and the rest of the characters shone.
