I'm surprised there are still decent jobs that doesn't require experience in Korea. Where I live, even an internship requires experience.

It's quite a juxtaposition for me that the author seems to imply that thru formal employment(mostly toxic workplace) is the main means of getting serious in life....it is one of many paths but there are many avenues of getting financial stability...yes there is a risk of her being in streaming as shown but if Gye consulted her peers and being smart with her going out in the public space, then she could be well off enough to retire and be able to proceed to her true passion like writing as well as being able to afford a place with better security and privacy...

Yeah, in Germany, even for internship, they would ask for relevant activity that might relate to the position. It's really insane but it's the reality here.
