Sorry for the delay—I’ve been very busy with things, and then more things, and then exams and all that good stuff. I hope you like the chapters as much as I do. I’m currently working on them, and Chapter 47 is available on our website. Wishing you all a very happy day or night!

Thanks for the batch of chapters!
In ch44 comms I wrote that since the first book written by that author was from 23 years ago it couldn’t be Fumi, but since it seems to be the casse. So did I misunderstand ch1 ? :thonk:
Anyway meeting with the parents is coming next chapter, I wonder how the cf will react to that when she learns about it

After teasing MC. then, after that working mode : on. well, i think Fumi-san is writing a new novel series or continuing novel she hasn't finished writing in the past.

Hmmmm, I went back to the first chapter after you said this but yeah you're not wrong. My guess it a ghost writer situation or taking up a mantle/title/pen name from the original and Fumi is maybe related to the original 🤔

Just speculation and we have to see how it unfold

Huh… I wonder where the story is going to go from here, since the main problem and source of conflict have already been dealt with.

Thanks for the chapter!
My guess, going by this chap, is that it will now be about them trying to debut in whatever pro artist thing they are doing (I'm not paying enough attention to remember what it was)

Dude why does she keep testing him, PLEAAAASEEE
Is she testing him? She's literally throwing herself at him at any given moment. It's not her fault MC won't make a move on her even though they both know how each other feel.

Thank you for the mass release of chapters. I enjoy this series the most when we get to see the usual flirty Fumi show her softer side.

The raws say ”2 or 3 years ago”, which matches the timeline, since Fumi won the award whilst she was in high school.

It‘s just that the raws have this as “2 3年”, but there‘s a space between the 2 and 3 and it’s most definitely not “23”.

I think at this point her interest/affection for him is genuine but she just can not stop herself from doing the cheeky/sexy shit instead of being honest with her own feelings to the point that it's a legit character flaw. He calls her out directly this chapter, even going so far as having a "never meet your hero/idol" moment, and she seems to have heard it

I want to acknowledge to all of you that the error was entirely my responsibility. I had intended to insert a hyphen between “2” and “3” to indicate “2 to 3 years ago,” and I had even written this instruction in my notes, but I mistakenly omitted it. I sincerely apologize to everyone for any confusion this may have caused. Although I noticed the issue later, my files became corrupted and were subsequently lost until chapter 7, at which point I assumed it would not be significant. Nevertheless, I accept full responsibility for this oversight.

This mistake has taught me a valuable lesson, and I am confident it will not occur again in the future. It serves as a reminder to be more attentive and precise in my work. I also wish to clarify for all of you that the surname was slightly altered. Initially, I had written it as Tohuru, but I have since corrected it to Tōru. At the time, I improvised the spelling to represent the long “o” sound in Japanese. However, I recently learned about the IPA symbols in English, and now understand that the proper representation of the long “o” sound is “ō.” This new knowledge prompted me to make the correction.

I regret the error and assure everyone here that I will remain mindful of such details moving forward. While the author may be employing a long-term narrative strategy, this does not excuse my mistake. I apologize once again to all of you and truly appreciate your understanding.
