To be fair she should have won the original fight. The NPCs gave them specific items used solely to counter her as a player. If she was a dungeon boss as part of a normal questline that's fine but to counter one player then it is a major problem so her coming back to wipe out their gains that they never should have gotten is just balanced gameplay
Also should be noted that all the players that were involved in the raid that killed her got an insane amount of XP for doing so, then didn't lose any on death due to the event.
Yes it's a narrative loss if she comes back, kills them all again, and destroys the city- but game mechanics-wise they're only out the consumables they used. It's not exactly the most balanced game given how much freedom it provides, but this isn't a terrible gameplay experience. Guarantee everyone involved will remember it forever.
To be honest, it is more or less she found a cheese. And that cheese is "Taming/Dominating" NPCs for farming EXP (she gains EXP too whenever her minions does something since they are technically her minions and part of her party).
To put in simpler fishing terms, she is using a net instead of a fishing pole.
to me its kinda suprising non of the players connected the dots of her being a player.
the event was advertised that players could choose to side with monsters or humans.
and more importantly she was doning literally the same armor (but bigger) that she was using in the last event, including the same floating sword weapons.
dunno if its just oversight from the author but its crazy to think that someone who dominated the first major event and had promo vidoes of her used wouldnt be recognised
also unrelated but only a 30player raid party turnout? for whats supposed to be a massive mmo and a major event 30 players is nothing... you would easily see hundreds if not thousands of players turning up for this event in a real mmo
Sorry but this is why making her a player as a boss is such a stupid decision by the devs. It's just not balance, she's a boss with agreement with the devs but can come back to life like a player meaning the whole boss thing is just stupid and makes no sense and unfair to normal players. If this real world the game will get shit to no end lmao

I think that city incursion was just one of many going on all over the map/continent.
The raid party at this location was just the players who chose this particular region to defend, and that was after the blonde PC was in conference with the leader of the city who had begged for help because of a powerful Calamity Entity nearby (being Rare in that forest).

But she is a player, and back in chapter 12 it stated players are allowed to take part of the event on the side of the monsters as well. Sure the devs asked her to take part on the monster side, because she took over the forces they were going to use for the event, but she is in fact playing by the rules of the event without being granted any favor(other than being told the event would fail to work right without her sending her forces). Also the devs aren't saying she is a boss they prepared, the players are assuming she is a boss they prepared, and she isn't correcting them.
Again, WHY DOESN'T FULL DIVE EXIST YET (I mean I know why its cause Elon musk would probably use it to mind control people if it was just pumped out without proper guidelines BUT I NEED IT)

Except the devs didn't do shit to make her as busted as she is. She just derailed their plans and instead of screwing her over so they could do the event like they wanted, they just let her do her own thing in exchange for participating. It's not the devs fault, this is quite literally the opposite of what they wanted, they're just making the best of a pretty bad situation that she put them in.
If only she could be more chill and be like hey guys, Don't worry I'm not here to fight just wanted to say gg and all that your strat and teamwork was really clean, but I'll get you next time, cheers.

Except for the fact that they didnt just treat her as another player they offered a special prize if she participated as a antagonist. They should have made it more clear to her that she would be participating under the knowledge thag she will be expected to lose and have the event in that area immediately end when she was defeated, give her the special reward and a message thanking her for her involvement in the event.
As the mmo is in open beta they would need to make sure people realise she is a player or risk it being torpedoed before it actually releases.

30 players is still a tiny amount of people for whats allegedly a massive mmo, and as far as we can tell the major event is from the "oracle" the npcs got and that oracle is talking specifically about the MC. generally the majority of the playerbase will participate in major events
Seems a bit unfair to the other players to just resummon a boss like this. I get that this is a “girlboss” moment but if she wasn’t the main character, I would be pretty miffed.

This is why I had hoped they would somehow included the forum section when Wayne asked for help into the manga, but I guess the manga format won't allow it. Essentially, it is due to 2 factor
1. People are sceptical of Wayne, as alluded in page 1 of chapter 15. A raid boss on day 2 of the event? Who is gonna believe that? It was only when Gil step in saying he trust Wayne, the rest are willing to take the gamble. This is also why most of them didn't reset their spawn point at the capital, if the raid boss never appeared they can just beat up Wayne respawn back to their original city (via suicide)
2. The method of transportation. For the event the devs set up a special teleportation mechanic, assuming the manga follows the novel, it can only be used once a day and to towns nearby the town the player is in. That means they can't directly teleport to the capital if their town isn't nearby the capital.
On day 1 someone discovered a glitch where if you piggyback another player (or NPC), as long as you passed the STR check, the other entity will be counted as an equipment and you can teleport while carrying them. And it can be stacked. So what the players did was forming a human totem pole, teleporting to the next town, dropping off the player who used his daily teleport, repeating until they reached the capital.
