from the way it going, it's gonna be shadow society vs numbers with 99% odds to the numbers

oh boy, I'm anticipating a war. a bunch of fixers vs the numbers. Imagine the shadow society wanting to get external help and came into contact with the numbers to eliminate Dushik or Ijin. But knowing the numbers, they won't do it and just do the exact opposite and just turn Shadow Society into a shadow memory.

Unless one of the members is a former Number who somehow escaped 003's slaughter, the Shadow Society seems like the perfect organization for a number to hide.

Why can't he just tell him to calm him down?

Isn't it supposed to be ramyeon since it's Korean?

You should get a better PC now.

PC parts are now becoming more expensive because data centres keep sucking up the supply.

Thanks for the translation, Kay.

I hope the screenwriter at least stops adding "new characters" or "new conditions." I don't know how far "Teenager Mercenary" will go, and I know the animation has been commissioned (hopefully it'll be good).

But I've already noticed a pattern in the story:

  • Ijin acts within a specific group
  • The "strongest" member of the group fights against him
  • Depending on the situation, that person either becomes Ijin's "colleague" or starts pursuing him
(this is actually kind of standard in stories of this type)
- Some new group is included (school, corrupt right-wing politician, family, "underground" (nightclub owner like Cha Dusik), police, the Numbers, the Camp, the Forest, the mercenary community, drug dealers, the "Shadow Society," etc.)

I won't deny that I started following the series because I thought it would oscillate between school relationships and Ijin's past paramilitary actions. I didn't imagine the story would focus more on Ijin "correcting the underworld."

In fact, I even imagined the story would end when Mad Dog was killed by the Numbers.

And I also won't deny that I even like how the story is told, otherwise I wouldn't be here today. But like, It's getting a little tiring.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next chapter features Dusik talking to Kuroha. And chapters after that, it will probably be some story related to family and/or school.

(By the way, has anyone counted how many days Ijin has been studying in the series?)
