did I miss something while reading because I don't think the chapter had foie gras in it which makes the credit page explanation a little weird.

I get exactly 3 hits for "salparfait" on Google. All three are French. One is a typo, merging part of the name of a hotel with the french word "parfait", "perfect". The other two are Instagram comments I can't read in full because I don't have an account, but they don't seem to be about food at all.

Lily talking about how nice it is to have firsts...

Is she trying to give Mai some hints to hustle up and eat her parfait already?

lol the outfits are always cute but bet they'd be expensive irl love how it's long sleeved but still off shoulder, tho i guess the point is more fashion than practical warmth

oyster...i've heard of seafood ice cream but don't think it'd be my thing XD

guess it's good to have a regular place tho i'd prolly would've grabbed something quick from the konbini rather than going back if only to save a bit of money, calories aside

Wait hold on. There's a food in france that legally requires the torture of an animal... wtf man T_T

Also, is it possible for mai to give lily some life energy without having sex? It seems like they're not ready yet and every relationship is different. No need to rush love <3

Maybe the term is only widely used in Japanese social media, and "salparfait" is just a translation/localisation?

That or the author made it up, who knows?

France also claims it as their cultural heritage, which makes fully banning it across the EU a nonstarter. Most EU countries have laws against producing it, but you can still freely import it from France and the few other EU countries that produce it. Single market and all that jazz.
