Crying and whining about wanting to see more evidence only to then complain that it's too much evidence and not engaging with it lolol, you're so unserious. But again, maybe I expected too much if you're reading Gero and Kinosaki as being equivalent to Deku and Bakugo... I didn't know it was possible but you're just genuinely not reading their relationship correctly, like completely irrelevant to shipping or romance, you don't fundamentally understand what is going on in the story. At this point I'm really curious what you've been getting out of the last 150 chapters besides basic shapes and sounds.
How long are you going to reproach me for not supporting your OTP and literally try to push it even when I said, "If you like it, ship it, none of my business"? Do you seriously not understand that the more you can't get over it, the more it looks like you're trying to convince yourself under the guise of arguing with me? If you're still willing to fight this battle with windmills, then I'm sorry, you're the only one here who's "crying and whining". However, if it's so important that you won't stop until you have the last word, please do so. I know you won't be able to stop as long as I keep answering this OTP mantra.

You're literally the one who demanded more "objective evidence" and "nuance" only to cry when people gave you more objective evidence and nuance. Maybe instead of posting four comments talking about MHA you can try posting one comment about the series you've supposedly read lolol

Before we argue about the author ending the manga with a BL ending, are we actually 100% sure Kinosaki is a man?

I wasn't gonna participate in this thread but this question was on my mind as well, I personally only remember them making a vague comment at the start about "sometimes I'm a guy, other times I'm a chick" re: the marriage swindling hustle, with just the vague implication that kino's a guy so gero doesn't get his hopes up or whatever & try to pick them instead of the "real" candidates (which makes even more sense now with the backstory we're given revealing kino's been under duress since the start lol)

I was thinking about this recently, too, by the way. I mean, was Kinosaki's biological gender ever directly confirmed in any way outside of his own words? This could be a pretty interesting red herring, making you think your heroine is a femboy to gain additional audience and at the same time enhance the romantic intrigue, if there was one in the first place. Another question is, if Kinosaki really is playing with the "pseudo-BL" trope of a girl pretending to be the male MC's best bro in an unusual way, it could potentially cause even more butthurt for local fujoshi and gachimuchi lovers than if their shipping had been ruined simply by Gero choosing a some girl.

Because it's obvious that it's one thing when your BL ship is sinking, when you once again expect the impossible from a work for a male audience (judging by the dialogue over Medalist and several other titles, the very idea of OTP instantly makes people ignore any plot or genre restrictions), but it's a completely different matter when the author is actually directly misleading you. So, although I don't know if Gero will be with Kinosaki or anyone else in general, I don't want to guess, but if it really was a red herring (by the way, Japanese Wikipedia still calls him a "male" anyway), the discussion of the final chapters will definitely be even more heated.
