Man, ever turn in this manga has been a left.... I've been consistently thrown off at every turn. Every time this manga starts to make you think it's taking itself seriously, another random-ass thing happens. Starting to get serious with the dragon? Surprise, it dropped an Uzi. Starting to get serious with the cyclops arc? Surprise, there's modern Japanese hunters there and it turns out modern technology is actually quite prevalent. Starting to get serious with the guild stuff? Surprise, the old guild leader now runs a food truck. Then double surprise, he actually dies! This manga gives you such severe tonal whiplash so regularly I'm surprised I don't have CTE already. Y'know, the condition you get from repeated concussions.
