Ever since we learn about Saki's staff from Choco, I think it was generally accepted that Cocoa is a witch, she went isekai and even saw Chino's past in mirror world, also let's not forget that she said "Nice to meet you" to tippy after grandpa left her body and real tippy's soul went back making it she noticed the difference of old and new tippy.

You know I hadn't considered the possibility that the characters might be legitimately supernatural themselves, rather than just having supernatural stuff happening to them, a la ARIA. I'd been treating Cocoa as in the same category as Akari, who isn't herself supernatural, but Cait Sith, who is, is distinctly interested in her, so supernatural stuff happens to her.
