Hell nah bruhh… a new fantasy manga with classic Ononata Manimani author. in just chapter 1 already show the MC dark past where his daugther died after getting hit by a runaway horse carriage and his wife is totally paralyzed then at the end of the page his wife gets burned by magic from someone unknown
So is this manga gonna be like Fukushuu o Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha with a bunch of gore, dark past, and sexual violence ahead? or is it gonna turn into something wholesome where he ends up raising a kid up to adulthood?

Nah, it could have been far worse had wife and daughter not been victims to an accident but both been killed before.

As for why his wife was murdered here and if it really was this peace organization I'll withhold judgement until I know more. It doesn't appear to make sense, but we'll see.

But this is a really strange and dark premise for what looks like a father/adopted daughter feel good manga from the cover.

I don't know if it's be better that the world peace organization is behind the fire or some third party interested in getting him to go against the org.

A third party would make it a mystery, but the org being responsible would make the upcoming violence cathartic and him taking care of her tragic.

Not gonna say it wasn't the world organization he retired from that torched his wife, or someone connected to them. But he did just openly walk into a crime den and brutally murder the boss for a cash payout. So it's not like there isn't multiple other people that would have a grudge against a unknown assassin.
