we all saw this coming how his new relationship was doomed from the start as she wasn't part of the main girl group living in that house, but as usual sasuga kei just spit on us, we're clearly reading why his relationship will fail, MC is gonna keep f*cking it up, and somehow we will get some excuse for him to not feel like the break up is only his fault. we got a good chapter with the "onee-san" of the group backstory but after that we have seen only BS.
Also did he even turn off the phone when he got busted with Anju?? and now suddenly she has problems about doing papa katsu?? like those comments are like the mildest you could get about it hahaha
Yes, I am aware. I just can't treat the characters of these stories by this author as realistic people, and instead view them as charicatures and archetypes of personalities & behaviors.

Because I don't see how most of them could be believably functional adults in a realistic setting, otherwise.

Either leave the house or just break up with the homegirl you fucking doormat asshole. Jesus christ. Sasuga MCs really do deserve the worst of the worst. Did he even let everyone know that he is dating the homegirl?

It's like one those scenarios where a chick joined an all-male band and all the members fell for her.
The band then deteriorated from then on.
That but the sexes are reversed.

Sasuga Kei is really terrible at writting male characters, they're all so emotional and there's no subtlety to it that most men who are emotive have, they just look like wimps.

Besides, they all seem to act and think too much like the female characters. As a guy, I can't see a male figure on them in any aspect.

I feel bad for Tsubasa’s boyfriend. He doesn’t know that he’s a substitute.

This dude… sorry, but I’ve completely given up on him and he deserves all the shit that’s coming for him now. Of course he didn’t tell his girlfriend about it either, he just avoids everything difficult. He’s not mature enough to be in a relationship, period.

The thing I LOVED was Lilli seeing them together. It’s overdue for her to see some of the consequences of her choices and honestly I can’t stand her.

MC showing that he learned nothing with time. I knew his relationship was doomed to fail since i read the name Sasuka Kei but let's see how many people can be hurt simultaneously by one person, she might be going for a new record

Hold on to all this Hiromi hate, but I think he didn't have many good outs in that exact moment. Nonoka on the phone would hear just about any reaction and then require an uncomfortable explanation. If, as soon as Anju entered the room, he paused his conversation to say "Hey Anju I'm on the phone with my GF, please leave." That would be the least guilty possible moment of this interaction, and he'd still have to explain to Nonoka that his sharemate is a boundary crossing minx. It only compounds the longer he let Anju go on with her bullshit.

We all know that Hiromi is indecisive and so polite he trends meek. He shouldn't have let Anju sleep over the previous night. He should have let her face the consequences of her actions instead of cover for her.

But in this specific moment, once Anju starting stripping, dude was trapped. There was no way to get out of it without Nonoka catching on. Best case scenario is that Nonoka has to worry about his erotic sharemates, and that's a time bomb.

There is no excuse to tongue fuck another girl while you have your girlfriend on the phone. Hiromi is an asshole cheater and deserve no sympathy after this point. He could easily move her away like a coat hanger and stand up but he just laid there. How can you "trap" a dude twice your size? Doormat doesn't even cover it. He is like an NPC. If they didn't barge in at the moment they did, what would have happened?

Regardless, Sasuga can not write male leads to save her life.

I am pissed at him but you have fair point though I think he is still very guilty, and also Anju saying "I want to disappear" (clearly in a very depressed state) and then "will you be my boyfriend then?" is some HEAVY SHIT that put her life on his hands. That's emotional blackmail even if she's not fully aware of it.

Sorry but the premise is just wrong.

He should be honest with his girlfriend, not hide things that she might find out about later. It just makes him look like he’s trying to get away with cheating. There’s no way he should have let her share his bed or allow things to escalate to the point where she’s kissing him while stroking his dick.

If a guy did the equivalent of that to Nonoka and she didn’t stop it, he’d dump her on the spot. Of course our MC doesn’t think about the consequences of his actions or who’s hurt by them, so who can be surprised at this point?

It’s all cowardly self-preservation, just like always. As others have said, he hasn’t learned a single thing, except it’s even worse now because Nonoka is paying the price. She’s planning to uproot her life and move cities for this guy!?! Jesus Christ…

Why are all these interactions even happening in people’s individual rooms? They could talk in the living room. The roommates aren’t really hiding their situations from each other in the first place. They’re just asking for problems

I don’t think Tsubasa truly cares about her “boyfriend” she using him as a way to cope with the MC rejecting her or to use him as a way to make the MC jealous.
