I don't think they're at a stalemate, tbh. They're just not overly caught up with labels which is a perfectly valid way to have a relationship. Just living in the moment, and maybe that persists into living together since they enjoy each other's company. Does that have to elevate to a physical relationship? Not necessarily. Probably will considering how freaky chokki can get. But there's folks that live together for YEARS before choosing to get married. No right way to fall in love.
