it's the problem with this mangaka, not saying that their art is bad or anything. It's just the artstyle probably cannot capture most of the serious part. Mostly for the opponent that should've been more intimidating or cool.
I said the same, just like you, but to Ice Burial. I didn't even realize that he is treated as boss battle at all until when the fight kind of prolonged enough.
For Yelkh though, at least I knew that he's an important adversary, but the way they draw the thin moustache irritated me a lot lol.

I think she's actually Death, like how the personification of Death in the Marvel universe is shown as a female waiting to embrace you at the end.
