At first I thought this was a "confession and ending" typical of romance stories, but I think there's more going on that makes it feel appropriate. This was a story about getting close to people over boundaries. Professional boundaries like clerk and customer, taboo boundaries like their age gap, and personal boundaries like "I'm an unworthy student/I'm an unconfident adult." We got to see the slow burn of approaching those boundaries and slowly breaking them down. Then finally they establish their new relationship, share their names, promise not to use honorifics, and bringing him to meet her cat. Tons of boundary resetting milestones in this chapter.

Can't wait for the epilogue chapters to wrap things up! Thanks TL, really nice series and your translation notes at the end were always interesting!

Such a rollercoaster of facial expressions for OL-san; from the blank confusion on page 3 to the (equally) adorable full-face blush on page 6, to the embarassment on page 8, and overwhelming joy on page 11! I only just noticed what the little 'pop' on page 8 was about. Such a difference with the end of the chapter ^^
