the first couple chapters had me feeling like this didn't have anywhere to grow
But now I'm getting more and more sold, especially with all the talk of potential political & foreign objection and powerplays over the "bloodline of the Hero".
And the author's going deeper than I'd expected with backstories and with characterization for the four of them. Not saying I didn't have faith, but taking the time to actually build out the world a bit in terms of the history of the hero line, and stuff like all the various nations and species working together in creating stuff like ...I guess "hero wedding attire" (potentially highly magically significant in cementing the Hero's power, maybe?) shows that it's all bigger than just these four.
Still waiting on the Demon Lord's daughter to crash the party, but otherwise I'm pleasantly surprised with what's being done, here.
