Yeah... though, let's be charitable and assume that "lose control" means "make a move." It's part of the joke, too. In the first page, she says, "I'm so charming, he'll lose control. No way. He wouldn't do that." Later, on page eight, Ishizumi says: "She's just so charming that I might lose control."...And I have full faith that if Ishizumi made a move and she said "stop," he would stop.

But I agree that the trope is annoying.

She also just has no reason to assume that they're one and the same thus far.

If she's not looking for "suspicious coincidences", then the timing on the texts wouldn't be on her radar, either.

It'd be one thing if she was questioning it, but "wrote it off". But her brain's preoccupied with worrying over how "Izumi" would react to her staying in the same room with another man, and then she's worried that he is doing that with another woman.

So with her mind engaging all of that, something like the fact that her employee's phone went off shortly after she texted, I think understandably wouldn't register.
