Like, if any of them put the "It's pretty obvious how most of the ones shouting here just joined today" in the vids, that would've given the entire drama quite a different tone to the audience

You weren’t just disagreeing to be loud you were saying the stuff that actually makes them uncomfortable because it hits a bit too close to home. That’s different.

And honestly, if they had included that “most of the loud ones just joined today” line in the video, it would’ve completely changed the tone. It wouldn’t look crazy anymore it would make people pause and question what’s actually going on.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if it became policy that forum account registrations become temporarily unavailable during events that cause outrage, or at least something that allows threads to require a certain amount of activity prior to being allowed to post in them.
Like, needs to have 50 activities in the last half year to be allowed to post or something

This narrative that this was the community having a complete uprising, when most of the ones shouting around were foreign invaders, like you for example.
Day 1 old accounts that make grand statements about being the community, proclaiming the site's doom, etc.

Neko's misbehaviour is a different matter entirely in this debacle, which likely could've been discussed much better without the foreign invaders stirring the shit. I already wrote my opinion on her very unprofessional behaviour before.

I do hope that a certain someone get's sentenced to a class in community management, however.

I don't think there is much more to discuss on that. She's also a foreigner from my perspective, but at least I know that she is in fact involved in the Mangadex project, unlike most of the ones I named above.
