Is there a way to export your followed list? I'm having trouble finding it but I know (or I think) back in the day I used it to migrate from the dying bato.to to MangaDex.
There are 3rd party tools and some other suggestions that can be found on the forums that will allow you to export your library

Have any of those commenters ever been here?
I have had a roo stake and roo and emu jerky... Does that count? (Closest I got was kiwiland)

Nope, because they REMOVED DELETED titles post namicomi aquisition.
The large DMCA take down (aka the great purge) only affected chapters, to the best of my knowledge. If there were in fact titles deleted I would like to know which ones.

One of the things that irked me about this whole fiasco was that the title pages themselves were being removed.

You should be getting mad at the group creating the problem in the first place, and that is the evangelical christians in the US that think they can dictate their preferences over everyone but themselves
Mangadex is always going to be illegal, you dumb shill, regardless of the American puritans. A pirate site that bends knee to copyright and censorship laws is a compromised website.

Why does this site even exist?
The majority of the content here is illegal
Someone make it make sense... i've been out of the loop to understand such grandiosity
I didn't mind if chapters didn't exist but thought this site could be a better MangaUpdates alternative for tracking reasons...
The disappointment just keeps on disappointing...

It's been a long journey, I've made great memories from reading from this site, for it to come to this state is depressing.
Its a good time to cancel my support I guess
some of us did that already because of this.

if this whole issue will be resolved in an appropriate way* i will go and resubscribe over on Namicomi like i did for the past 20 month.
(at least If thats possible : as of now my canceled pledge is marked as active, i cant cancel it again and i keep getting emails that the pledge cant be renewed because of insufficient funds/ coins)

*by the way: i dont call for a demotion or punishment of that neko dude. i have been called any kinds of shit in the past. i dont care about that.
I want the content back.
I want to know who initiated this (the so called "legal nexus"
I want the Admins or whoever is in charge to improve on communication (= Make announcements before you do something, not just halfassed damagecontrol attempts afterwards. Stop beatin around the bush : "call a spade a spade" / Ross und Reiter nennen.
no corpoesque vagueposts, please.

I doubt the content is coming back.
There is a reason it's being removed otherwise the powers that be wouldn't have done anything.

If anyone agrees with those reasons, is another topic.

from my perhaps lack of understanding, it was a singular rogue admin who did this. unfortunately we know fuck all about how MD mods work behind the scenes, but if EN gets booted, i think the content MAY come back.

who knows, though

While Neko's response may have been "rogue". The removal of titles is not something they can just do. Something happened that warranted the removal of titles from the site according to "the higher ups".

What that something is remains unknown to the public. This is part of the lack of communication problem.

the dubious "legal nexus" no one is willing to call by its name.

i start to think it doesnt exist and this truly came from within the platform itself (not neko)
or its because paymentprocessors started to make trouble (like they did with fakku in december)
or its because of compatibility issues with advertisements/ adnetworks

otherweise why not just come clean and say :

we received a letter from enter name of organization or group regarding certain content insert list of affected titles
and were forced to remove it because enter whatever stupid so called reason was given by the sender

Today Mangadex ended for me.

I came here to organize the books I have already read and want to read.

Since they are deleting the links to the works, this does not even serve as an organizational list.
you could cancel your support for the time being. some of us already did it because of this mess.
maybe this will be a sign of protest that is hard enough to be not ignored or taken lightly

In this case it's less of a lack of communication, but more that there is legal trouble afoot. It is common knowledge that you shut up in such situations. (A certain someone didn't seem to understand that. I imagine they get a lot of shit behind closed doors for that in addition to their idiotic post.)
I expect there to be an official statement at a later date, but how long that takes I cannot tell, being just a user.

Didn't crunchyroll fake a "glitch" when people started unsubbing en masse? I wonder if they're gonna do the same.
You really believe that the Mangadex team could implement something like that?
Not even for amorality, but this seems to be already limited by the technical challenge. The site doesn't have username changes despite it not being a feature that the devs decline.
Also, you can go to your bank and tell them to not accept any charges from that account, I think. Not sure how it is in other countries

I feel like 99% of all the content on mangadex should be removed. If you are asking people to agree that they are the copyright owner when uploading something, when this is first and foremost a scanlation website, people clearly do not have those rights...

Further, if you are going to be removing such content, why haven't you deleted like 99% of the website founder's uploads?

There are also reports of mods granting inactivity requests for inactive groups, thus allowing power uploaders to re-upload all of their content (who also do not have the rights to the content), and staff not really responding to requests to have their groups permanently re-locked. It doesn't really seem like you are taking your position as protecing copyright seriously.

If they already wanna go down the same road as CR I don't see why they wouldn't try.
