the entire series feels like an excuse to draw semi-ecchi content, but without getting it explicitly labeled as such which would pigeonhole its distribution and marketing. Just look at the volume 3 cover art - what does that even have to do with anything in the story?

"hot high school girls in spandex doing a wrestling-based beauty contest" feels like the exact sort of contrived plot device to perpetuate that desire.
