• He's asked what they should get as a baby shower gift,
• He waxes nostalgic about a fashionable baby wear company that also makes bags,
• He looks up their product line, so surely they're going get one of those bags as a gift or something...
• And then they just get babywipes?

Like, it feels like it's it's meant to be a joke, but it really doesn't land that way.
I suppose it really does only make sense as a purposely anti-climatic joke, which would work as an ending, but like I said it doesn't quite land as a joke.

This entire manga is basically a series of advertisements. You were introduced to the brand, the products, how much they cost, and how stylish they are. If it got that point across, then the chapter "did its job." Granted we can't buy any of it outside of Japan so we only have the entertainment factor which is hit or miss...
