Worst fight in the franchise. One of the strongest gods in the history of our world, dies to a baby Japanese Ghost. The pandering is off the charts. I hope whoever wins the next round, either King Enma or The Shinigami (My bet is Enma) beats his ass.

Happen all the time in single-elimination tournament manga( Kengan, Baki, tales of destruction, Tenkaichi...) I know that it is common but at least explain how Muramasa that strong

It would've been one thing if he split Ahura Mazda and then fought both halves as they separated like a reverse Zerofuku from the main series, and maybe that's still possible next chapter considering this is the first of the new volume. But after the way the main series hand waved some of the coolest figures from history to wank Japanese samurai guy #7, this leaves a bad taste in the mouth even if it is just a fakeout.

Huh i guess we can atlwast have the 2 guys become .. uuh 2 gods again now thou ? Still as bad this was as a fight i also find it insanely hillarious how bad this was. Like kinda funny in a sad way how we spend the entire time talking it up and then bam

He was cut vertically so I'm happy that opportunity wasn't wasted. It's a shame he's actually dead when the tournament had seemingly avoided that so far, we already got Shuumatsu No Valkyrie for the death matches.

I did NOT expect the fusion dance backstory, that was interesting.

All the complaints about 'This is the worst fight!!!' are hilarious, it wasn't a fight, it was just Muramasa's introduction, not every single 'match' of a tournament need to be a real fight, you need to have something the later rounds.

And stop crying that a japanese author isn't self flagellating and making all japanese characters bow and scrap in terror before getting curbstomped by some irrelevant figure none of you knew before he showed up in the manga.

It would've been one thing if he split Ahura Mazda and then fought both halves as they separated like a reverse Zerofuku from the main series
It specifically would be a bad thing because it'd do nothing to hint at and making you wonder about Muramasa's ability for his actual important fight. It's like nobody here ever heard of 'set up'.
