All Ashnold has to do is re-subordinate Ricola while she bears Fior's crest, then have them swap back and both become subordinates without Ashnold ever having to actually do anything to Fior.

to your last bit - I could see a world where Yuri finds out that not only is Ashnold also a Reincarnator, but that he's the Glasses Boy that she would listen in on when they were kids about all the "game talk" surrounding this world they're now in.
From there, she finds out the truth about Ashnold and other Demons and how there could be a middle way that sees coexistence, and she can stop trying to save the world and focus on getting a boyfriend like she wants.
And, she and Ashnold get together, and both sit at the center of the harem-web where she can indulge herself with everyone alongside Ashnold as her ...I guess "primary partner", or something.

We're already being shown that some number of demons (like the Princess) aren't "bad", per se, and I'd honestly expect that the Goddess Herself might actually be doing the dirty with the Demon Lord in secret. In light of that, I could see this very much going the route of Ashnold and Yuri teaming up, taking out the people pushing discord and war on both the Demon side and the Human side, and then saving the world that way, with peace and lots of debauchery all around.
