Exactly eternity is a long time, so finding happiness anywhere would be nice for them. Or they could just be friends she outlived for it seems she's not above making friends with regular foxes as well.

Man I can't remember if it was this manga or a different one with a fox wife; there is one where wifey wakes up crying and kinda freaking out because she had a dream her hubby died of old age. Or something similar to that anyways.

Wish i could find it cause it was a really cute chapter. Husband petting her in fox form and consoling her that he still isn't dead and they have plenty of time left
