That's... a damn good observation. I'm so used to harem series where the MC is a loner, only has one best friend or is surrounded only by women that this is quite refreshing in comparison. Even more so since the MC is an Isekai hero, yet made male friends as part of his background before the story started.

That said, this wouldn't be the first case I've seen, at the very least I remember Jobless Reincarnation as another example of the MC having a harem, more than one male friend, and at least one of those friends has his own romance subplot.

It's funny because If I look at this story objectively. It's nothing snazzy and it's cliché plus generic. But honestly, I was here for the story of a guy and his mates in a harem story overcoming their obstacles. It's not revolutionary, and it's not really upsetting the genre but after The world only God knows, I don't ever expect a harem series to just break records. But rather a story that sticks to it's guns and builds a cast that isn't just set to "Love the mc unconditionally".

I hope the story stays... true to whatever it actually is. Even if Touma is a bit naïve I really did like him finally showing some genuine anger and backbone in the previous chapters. Personally I don't want another "Girl in the harem" But the guy is saving her little sister so it is what it iz.
