Huh, that was far more tame and cutesy than I expected from where the last chap left off.

In other news, if it wasn't clear, the reason I left "oranges" as mikans through this chapter was because the pun of Mikan being named after oranges was the whole point of the chap. Looked kind of weird to write I admit, but it would have been weirder still to use the word oranges this time in my opinion.

Tangerine in English, a similar citrus but smaller and less juicy than the orange.

Mikan aren't just oranges, they're clementines or mandarins in US English. To localize the chapter well, you'd have had to translate the dog's name as 'Clementine' from the beginning.

The chapter didn't bother met at all, but I suppose I've lived in Japan long enough that 'mikan' is a transparent word to me, like 'sushi'.
