I just realised the other day that this series is over 20 years old. At this point, I have to wonder where the story is even gonna go.

I was either in my last years of school when this came out first over here or in Job training for my first Job. So I was around 19 or something, I am turning 45 this year. lol
And as much as I'd love to there be focus on acting again, this really should find an end at some point.
Quite shocking that it's still popular enough to get published.

I just rediscovered this series recently and was actually looking to see how it ended. I found a CD with a bunch of early scanlations on it in zip files.

It's like the Drama Hajime no Ippo, or Detective Conan.. 400000000000000000000000000000 volumes later, the sun blows up before the story hits a halfway point.

Right? Conan started 32 years ago, every single one of them should be out of college and graduated by now. In fact, they are all so old that he could legally marry Ran AS-IS and the age difference would be perfectly fine. The threats he was after should all be dust by now since they were likely already old men when it first started.
