i read the first few volumes of the Pokemon Adventures manga a long time ago. it was really good, and surprisingly much more mature than pretty much everything else in the franchise. kind of like Berserk.

also played a few spinoffs (Mystery Dungeon on DS, Pokemon Ranger 1 and 2, most Pokemon Rumble games (even though they're kinda shit) and some romhacks of course. also Pokemon TCG Pocket.

I’ve played through all 10 generations of main series games

Tyranitar (#0248)

Did you know: Tyranitar has been a competitively viable Pokémon in every generation since its debut in Gold & Silver, claiming OU status for over 15 years!* It currently holds the record for being the longest surviving Pokémon in OU and is also my personal favorite.
*Technically it's over 25, but Showdown was not created until 2011
Long live the Tyrant!

I don’t follow the anime, but I have read some of PokeSpe! (Through Gold & Silver, still need time to read the rest.)

I’ve played through all 10 generations of main series games and through some of the spinoffs (i.e. Ranger, Conquest, Colosseum, Mystery Dungeon, etc.)(Please GameFreak if you're reading this bring Pokemon Ranger to the Switch, I am begging you)
Also I play competitively on Showdown and would consider myself a decent battler if I do say so myself :meguusmug:
So both Gameboy + Nintendo 64 games, right? I was asking because sometimes there are weird coincidences, for instance there was a sudden interest in the late 90s about "bending a spoon with the power of your mind" by fixing your gaze upon it (spoiler: you do it with your thumb when no one watches), even some magicians copied that for their shows. This is exactly what Alakazam does with theirs when attacking. I link two Pokemon videos and one about "bending spoons" IRL:

Alcremie (#0869)

Did you know: Alcremie has the most forms of any Pokémon with a staggering 64 forms! (72 if you count shiny variations) These forms are determined by esoteric knowledge such as time of day, direction of spin, duration of spin, and held evolution item.
It looks like ice cream, delicious. :meguu:

another fun fact about Alcremie: it's a favorite of Roland from Library of Ruina. he's even cosplayed as the fluffy fucker on several occasions.
