It's not just her he automatically grabs in his sleep though, it's also the cats; when he had first grabbed her, he released her in exchange for a cat, which he also let slip away. Considering that, continuing with the test seems like it should have yielded poor results and we may find that he still grabs more people in the future or has erratic grabbing behaviour in his sleep.

Uzaki on the middle panel of page 2 reminds me of how Misuzu would be drawn in Tomo-chan occasionally. Oddly one of my favorite visual gags to compare her against the taller characters.

as funny as that is, it would've largely negated the growth he'd been striving for.
Maybe as a "hana is imagining a worst case scenario" cut-away gag, but I'm happy with this ending like this.
