Oh yeah, artist, a sword just cleaved through a metal breastplate.

Are they wearing armour made of foam or what???

Okay, I understand that the setting has magic and stuff so some conventional knowledge of war cannot be expected in the story. But how comes the cavalry got surprised by a wall of spear. Edit: And they just charged right into it impaling themselves

To be fair, it's the actual historic counter to cavalry charges.

This translation is terrible.
Yeah, not that I don't appreciate the effort, this is in dire need of not just proofreading, but editorial as well. There's some really weird usage errors all over the place. I get that there may be some idioms that aren't translating well, but it shouldn't be too hard to look those up and find a suitable analogue in the English language.

I will never understand the thought process of using mtl then not proof reading it. This chapter was fucking hot garbage because the tl didn't care.

What was the plan here? To hide the fact that one of the 'hero swords wielders' were there? But then he just pops out and shows himself to everyone anyway? What was the point of their soldier deaths, or any of it? :dogkek:
You could say that the plan just failed, but it didn't even look like it was a plan, and if it was, he didn't look annoyed that it failed and that he had to blow his cover.

My guess? To have them nice and grouped up so he can AOE them without any chance of them retreating and regrouping.
