I'm surprised I liked this one, monster isekai can be very hit-or-miss with me. What's strange is that he's the small yellow dragon on the promo art for like one and half episodes at most. I thought he'd stay in that evolution phase longer. 🤔

This past anime season felt a little lacking compared to most others. I ended up watching less shows than I do on average. Though there have definitely been a few (personal) bangers.

Medalist 2
Following the great season 1, this was always a joy to watch every week. Too bad it was only 9 episodes and the big thing the season was amping up to is postponed for the movie. Just thinking about how Inori started her journey and where she is now is heartwarming.

Seihantai na Kimi to Boku
Probably the biggest surprise for me this season. Such a cathartic romantic comedy, where they don't mess around too much with delaying the resolution of issues and generally just gave me what I was hoping for. It's also one of those few shows where I've consistently watched the OP and ED. Especially the OP felt well made imo.

Gnosia
While it started a season before this one, it ended this season. It was fun to think along with the werewolf game in the earlier episodes and to see the character and plot development later on in the show. It wasn't perfect in terms of plot holes and isn't for everyone, but I ended up enjoying it more than expected.

Next season's going to be stacked. I'm especially looking forward to the new season of Honzuki no Gekokujou.
