Oh, I see.
I sort of feel like ME in particular participating would be cheating.
BanBan is participating, so nothing's off limits.
He's kinda like the king of regulars anyway...
does this mean 10 reactions or 10 reaction score? also, are points only added in 5s? (meaning 18 reactions would only result in 5 points, not 9).

if scores are only increased in multiples of 5 (/10 reactions), do reactions carry over from day to day, or are excess reactions at the end of a day / counting period truncated? (for example, if on day 1 a player had 19 reactions and were given 5 points, then received 11 reactions on day 2, would they be given 5 points on day 2? or 10 points on day 2?)
10 reactions, not 10 reaction score. Players get the points when they get 10 reactions, but the amount of points vary.
For the second question, I would like to clarify that any new reactions to a a player's message sent before they participates in the culling games do not count towards their score, and that messages expire for points potential within 2 days after they are sent
Rule 10 also exists, hence @yogurtman250 is removed from the (now concluded) game.

That's all for this round, folks - thanks for playing!
very funny, but just for clarification, I am the game master, and cannot participate in the culling games.
for now...?

Yeah it's fine. I'm stupid as well, so I can't make it easier to understand, but basically, you have to post messages in the thread of your choosing (like CCT for example), and pray that you get enough reactions to get the points

Ooooohhh...
So I go to a thread and write a comment saying something like "Gimme likes bitches?"

points vary based on which reactions they are? as an example, how many points would 10 Helpful reactions give someone? what about 10 Like reactions?
For the second question, I would like to clarify that any new reactions to a a player's message sent before they participates in the culling games do not count towards their score
makes sense
and that messages expire for points potential within 2 days after they are sent
okay, so this means that if a player gets 19 points on day 1, and 11 points on day 2, they'll have ~5 points added at the end of day 1 and ~10 points added at the end of day 2? it seems like a lot more work if reactions are checked daily but reactions are valid for two days (you'd have to double check the previous day's reactions at the end of each day and ensure you weren't double counting).

it seems like a fun game but be honest man how much did you workshop this idea before making the thread

That's your first mistake: showing leniency. (Actually depending on how this event will go, maybe creating it may have been your first mistake.)

Why do warnings exist when rule 9 exists?
I'm only showing leniency because it's the first hour of the thread and that my rules are hard to understand.
Ooooohhh...

Yeah, but not just any thread, but you have to choose one of these threads to post the thread in for the whole game. Choose wisely...
points vary based on which reactions they are? as an example, how many points would 10 Helpful reactions give someone? what about 10 Like reactions?
I say 2. only Strikes, and any reaction gave gives 3 reaction score have special effects on the amount of points you get every 10 reactions.

For the second question, It just came to my mind while taking a shower lmao. I 100% expected this to die, so I just went with it lmao

It's the first few hours of the game, so I'm marking this moment as the "pre-game" phase, meaning that I can tweak the rules during this phase. Once the actual game begins, the rules are locked in place and cannot be edited in the future. For example, I'm making it so that messages expire the day after they're sent, because you just pointed it out lmao
Just so you know, points are only counted once the game actually begins. I'll send a message to whoever is participating when the game actually begins..

You think that Angry_Panda broke the rule to not cheat the system.....by accident, because he didn't understand the rules? 😅

He broke the rules, because he understands the rules and because that's what he does; it's in his enraged panda DNA. :dogkek:

2 points for 10 like reactions, you mean? the original post in this thread said that 10 reactions = 5 points so i want to confirm.
For example, I'm making it so that messages expire the day after they're sent, because you just pointed it out lmao
okay, so say that day 1 starts at 00:00, and i send a message on day 1 at 02:00. would that message's reactions be counted at/around day 2 at 00:00? and any further reactions after day 2 at 00:00 would NOT be counted and added to my points?
Just so you know, points are only counted once the game actually begins. I'll send a message to whoever is participating when the game actually begins..
bruh the game hasn't begun? what have i even been doing in the CCT... :nyoron:

I would argue I took advantage of an oversight on the part of the designer, but to-may-to--Bu-ick....

Anyway, this was fun! We should do it again sometime (but not soon).
