Thanks for the TL! The narrator monologue is most likely MC from the future, And this has the worryingly troubling implication that So-ae will feel betrayed by the MC for lying about her/his true identity.... So-ae bros it's so over, the childhood (hs) sweetheart always never had a chance...

The same foreshadowing happened when Ruha was loredropped by the narrator as fem!MC's worst mentor way before she was jealous of male!MC's obsession of fem!MC and revealed her initial mentoring wasn't as truthful on showing how she idoled.

Also, looks like the roster for next month's is revealed. Poor Hyojeong has to contend with Suryeon bullshittery and Yoil has to deal with the akwardness between her and Izumi rip.

well, we get to know that the trigger to sanghyun and soae first encounter is sanghyun's a$$...haha and seoyoung basically saved us from 15 chapters flashback moment.

while the lineup for the june monthly evaluation is a total chaos for yoil and hyojeong, lucky for yoil that bitch a isn't on the same team as her, only lee mooyoung on neutral side at this point since she's not getting along that well with yuri and izumi right now, but i hope hyojeong won't be a canon fooder this time. it's kinda sad seeing them breaking down one by one.

lastly will dabi shine in this round? or will she be the canon fooder instead?

Thank god for Seoyoung I was getting worried there.

I'm worried about Soae though, poor girl I know Yoil is only trying to help, so it's scary to think what might happen.

I'm hoping Yoil can fix things with Izumi at least, tell her she couldn't bear the thought of copying Lee Ruha, and was the reason Lee Ruhan didn't retire (but also the reason she left Parang)

I'm so glad for Dabi at the end of this chapter brightening the mood cause there was a lot of awkward and heavy conversations and her happy go lucky was needed.

Man, the Author has been telegraphing a "redemption" arc for Suryeon for so long lol (or at least her and Yoil reaching an understanding). Which I'm totally fine with tbh. I think most people here are being a bit too hard on a character that is just a dumb teen feeling the pressure of the idol world and a potential rival. A few chapters ago she even cried to her friends, showing that she's mostly just putting up a tough front kinda like Ruha. I find her interesting.

Do you guys think the other trainees think Yoil is in love with someone right now? Yoil has started wearing feminine/cute clothes and her personality has also become more feminine. If I didn't know the truth, I would have thought she was in love with someone.

I like that this author is a good enough writer to make subtle changes in character over time, so I wouldn't be surprised if Yoil eventually starts wearing a more specific style of clothing, instead of trying different styles, just because she ends up liking some outfits.

So. It seems that Yoil may have buns of steel. And eighties taste in clothes.
Let's see how the teams work out. I don't want to see summergirl get kicked out for beating up a she-dog.
Should we count the time for Lee Ruha's inevitable reappearance?

I wanna guess that Wonjin tipped off management on Yoil and Izumi's shared akwardness after the Ruha debacle and advised them to work together in the same group for the monthly presentation. That or Woniin got tipped off, cuz it seemed like she knew who Yoil will be paired with

Oh, so Sanghyun's decision to overcommit is going to blow up in his face? Thank god I caught that at least, but I'm sure the reason would be different than I thought.

Sanghyun was a passerby in many people's lives, and in many ways still is—but he can't deny the connections he's grown with other people. Neglecting his personal life wholly means neglecting those relationships, and, well...

Sometimes life hits you back.

Literally this. I also feel like people are forgetting how poor of a first impression Han-Yoli made on the first day. She shows up first day, trips and falls, does not wear a bra all the while looking like a slob. Yet she still manages to barely pass the initial tests. To Suryeon, someone who I assumed had sacrificed alot to get in this position, she would naturally feel offended by Han-Yoli and would think of her as nothing more than just nepo baby (Which I guess she kinda is)

1. In Korean, the subtitle "아무것도 아닌 날" can be interpreted as 'An ordinary day,' but it also carries the double meaning of 'Someone of no importance.' Therefore, it can be understood as: 'Why Soae became interested in a worthless person like me (Sang-hyeon), even though I am a nobody.

2. Soae carefully observes the way he grips a can while in his 'Yoil' form, noting that it's identical to Sang-hyeon's habit. She also notices that he holds his chopsticks shorter than others, just as Sang-hyeon does. These subtle clues lead her to suspect that Yoil and Sang-hyeon might be the same person, or at the very least, that they are closely connected and know each other very well.

3. Given the manager's mention of a tight schedule with the PD, this episode is likely the final one for the trainees. It seems Group A and B are meant to select additional members who harmonize well with the fixed debut members (Won-jin and Izumi), while Group C is highly likely to be treated as a discard

Sorry if my English is a bit off, I'm using a translator.

Interesting theory. I wouldn't expect Suryeon to be in the discarded group, but Bae Hyojeong and Oh Minji are also there, and they're definitely on their way out.

Unless they've decided that Suryeon is most likely going to debut, so they're giving her a final test by placing her in this group to see how she does on her own without Wonjin or Izumi.
