I think that might have been her plan to some degree, I just am unsure to which point. She might have planned to make them scared either by killing some of them or something along those lines.
i'd hope the guy she killed wasn't JUST a slave or something so that it's less...horrible
but she does seem like the kind of person to kill a bunch of innocent people for no TRULY justifiable reason.

Not justified, but understandable.
The two are not the same.

In a cruel world where people won't hesitate to backstab or kill to get what they want, morality is a risky thing to have.
Those slaves all had seen them, they even know what disguises they are using.
And not to mention that the ones they killed weren't exactly small no name people. Authorities are going to come in hard once news of his disappearance or deaths comes out.

We have seen previously how easy it is to bribe or intimidate people into giving info or doing their bidding.
Every slave there could easily spill the beans about who killed the guy and what/who they are disguised as.

Does it justify killing them out of paranoia? No, it doesn't.
It does, however, make her actions more understandable from a pragmatic standpoint.

Love it when the main characters are just plain and simple bad and selfish people. The only thing a character needs to be compelling is depth and convictions. Not morality.

Bold choice actually making her comit to being an utter psychopath. It might be unpopular but it does feel necessary, since in my opinion the world's grittiness did come off as quite cheesy in previous chapters.

Ah well they clearly got some design going on so they can't die yet

OOP
suppose she's uh, a lil deeper down the rabbit hole than we originally thought
Discounting slaves and children, slave children as expendable for murder is crazy
May be logically but that's pretty deep morally

The fear in their eyes though
They really thought they were saved

THE ABSTRACT IMAGERY HOLD GUAC

Seems shes talking more about herself about the slaughtering the weak and children thing, be a thing of her past she regrets and is ashamed of I'm sure

AYO WERE SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER THAN THE ENEMY THOUGH
We must uphold our egos through the moral high ground, using their tactics stoops ya to their level

Reverse psychology?
Okay wwait hm....
I wonder if this was a ploy, well she did look shocked when she was intially interrupted, though smiling through the rest, hm...
And I wonder if she'll later get some devolpment to work on her morals a bit though it's feeling a lil unlikely as one would need to see the wrong in it first and like... That don't just happen overnight there need be a reason for change...
Maybe the author will surprise me

I like surprises
Have a nice day

She’s not wrong though the odds of one of the slaves or all of them going to spill the info for money isn’t low
