Bastard what you gon do to the fist f*ck young lady?

Her weakness is if you don’t have anything to fist f*ck. What you gonna do? Plug all the holes?
Even if all the holes are plugged, she can just make a new one, like with the wyem. :dogkek:

also, good timing with the upload lol, i was actually reading the WN (cuz i dont know where to read the tl'd LN if there is one) right before i saw the upload
Indeed, I would like copies of the LN too - lets hope JNovel or Seven Seas pick it up.
Possibly I could copy the translated text of the WN, but unsure how to do that. If I can, I may give making it into epubs a try :D

With how insanely viral and borderline illegal(for a minor) and dangerous shes been doing in dungeon. Im surprised that the government hasnt stepped in yet, her family could be targetted just by her knowing stuff like that special drop requirement and now her divine craftsman skill able to make item box(even if shes the only one who can use it). I wonder if this series will treat this like nothing or will they become serious all of a sudden hahahah
Eh, as mentioned, because doing this is gonna be impossible for pretty much anyone to do, there isn't a law against it. They might have to pass such laws (such as not flying unaided) once dungeon skills make it possible, but even then, who is going to police it?

I think it is the D-Genesis books (or WN :D) that mention that the japanese government is opposed to creating laws to benefit the government's convenience over that of their people, but that might be just in that book-universe :D
Good thing only she can use her item box

Was mentioned that only she can use items crafted via <divine artisan> but again, given she has pretty much maxed out her conventional crafting skills too, it is possible she could create a transferrable "bottomless bag" by NOT using <divine artisan> on the next drop of that type she "acquires" :D

At least for now, this is a good thing (they can't really be stolen now, although someone theoretically could kidnap her to force her to use the bag on their behalf. I say theoretically because, seriously, how can you expect to subdue and exploit someone who can punch though dungeon walls?)

In four years, when she is older, not being able to sell or otherwise transfer things she makes would be a significant restriction - although at that time, she could just transfer the raw materials she can legally take out of the dungeon then, and have a non-divine production user do the work. Bonus points if it has a high fail rate (especially at first) so they have to buy multiple sets of the drops from her to get even one success :D

Too bad she can't sell her creations due to usage limitations, she would have been set financially after she became an adult.

Maybe her furniture will be marketable? Those ain't equipment...

Yup. Also aren't made with <divine artisan> as they are using upper to middle layer drops, so transferrable.
Probably face some serious questions about the source of the materials if she tried to sell such, but could you even casually identify them as being made with monster materials? I mean, yes, they have a detector in the dungeon, but are you really likely to take a random sofa to a dungeon entrance to check it?

I like how it was legally explained and the worry the commentators had. I wonder if they will try and clamp down in this, but she is quite absurd in many areas

I think having a knowledgable adult confirm at this stage was needed for the narrative - part of the world setting is the restriction on minors taking out drop items (which will lead to the absurdity we have already seen where never-before-seen drop items are abandoned because she can't legally take them, and someone following her around to take her drop items would be seen as the exact exploitation that the law is meant to prevent)

Karlin is BEGGED, by the Dungeon Authority official chat account, to let them collect some of her ultra-valuable rare drops, and she is all "nope, not happening" :D

I can share the scraped WN epub file (~266 chapters). Simply copy-pasting won't really help because they use mangled fonts, so you have to also use a substitution table. + it has hidden divs and text that would show up if you strip out CSS. + they use captcha protection. I more or less cleaned it up in my rip, because I plug that stuff into TTS via librera.

After this chapter, I'm certain that the author is partly inspired by The Spiffing Brit who exploits bugs in videogames on YouTube. He even has a hat on his avatar and he almost always mentions tea, specifically Yorkshire.

That would be welcome. Honestly though, I am also interested in giving it a go myself; there are several other WN (on both that site and others) I would be interested in having both searchable copies of and offline copies in case they evaporate in future, such as the WN of KKKBear - and of course the technical challenge involved :D

Unsure; I mean, the original author is japanese (so probably not following relatively obscure british streamers) and specifically drinks single origin teas like Darjeeling (from Lipton Tea) - Yorkshire is a specific brand of (usually) UK teabag, and isn't really a cultured choice (not that I would recommend Earl Grey either)
Hair accessories (including those at a jaunty angle) are a bit of a trope, too. Hers appears to be part of her dress (in that it changes to a flower hair accessory when her dress is in disguise mode)

Here ya go:

Disclaimer tho:
1. Some chapters have repeat text segments or re-MTLd text segments. This is not scraper issue, I double-checked it's literally that way on the TL website.
2. The formatting is beyond broken and stuff like inline italics will show
"like
this
instead" because they wrap it as <i><p> for whatever reason.
3. Some later chapters have skill names missing. Again, not my fault, that's literally as it is on TL website. At least you can guess what skill they mean by context lol.
4. There's 267 "chapters", but since they split them up: It's 182 actual chapters + partial 183. (Also it's currently inbetween major arcs)

Honestly though, I am also interested in giving it a go myself
If you want - hit me up on discord I suppose (same handle)? I can explain the tooling I use (it's homebrew, but nothing fancy). It's somewhat generic and I use same tool to scrape multiple WNs I like, but I tailor parsers for each website by hand.

Yeah, saw that on several WN at that site. If you want crazy though, Amazon messes up the Kuma Kuma LN real bad - some books are missing chapters and/or repeat chapters.

Had to go re-buy them on Kobo.

Don't have a problem loading it into an editor and cleaning it up as I go; I have had to do that for other novels from Amazon, although that route is now blocked by their current lockdowns. Being able to use my legacy kindles will be sorely missed.

Appreciate that - will have a stab at it myself first though. Means my other round tuit project (extending jncep to unscramble manga) gets put back again... unsurprisingly :D

Alright so it's been two volumes of Chat freaking out over Karin doing pretty standard isekai/'dungeons appear in the real world' stuff.
Is there going to be an actual plot to this, or just more glazing over how cool and perfect she is?

That is complex to answer.

Streaming from Dungeons is a concept common to this sort of worldpicture - in some, the "reason for dungeons appearing" is to provide amusing streams of the native inhabitants trying (and often failing) to investigate them.

But she is cosplaying as an anime character who conquers dungeons. She is also cosplaying a rich girl, but all her stuff is clearly "fake" as part of the cosplay. Now we find out it is all incredibly high end, hand made custom pieces using dungeon materials that professional artisans can barely handle, that she has personally hand-made by [checks notes] walking back and forth chanting "desuwa" and hitting the materials with a tiny hammer. Which we are told is NOT how production magic usually works.

Her streams are constant "WTF?? Is this even real??" moments, hence her not even having followers for the first year, as it was considered an obvious fake.

She appears to consider the chat "internet exaggeration" but she is judging herself by the standards of literal Anime characters, and OP ones at that, so compared to your average adventurer this is insanity with a side order of hallucinations.

The actual plot IS proceeding; in this volume she is showing off her production skills (and why its a legal loophole she is exploiting to take her creations out of the dungeon) which gives us more knowlege about monster drops and production; the idiot she punched is plotting revenge, and behind the scenes, the government is trying to build policy for how to deal with an OP newcomer who is both under-age and running rampage in plain view of the whole world...

To be fair, I'm pretty sure it's been less than a week since she got popular by beating up the asshole. They're probably trying to figure out if anything could even be done, and if it's even a good idea since this doesn't seem to be one of those ones where the explorers strength only works in the dungeon.
She would probably listen to the government, she doesn't seem to be the type to brazenly rebel, her loophole is one thing but i doubt she d fight if they outright tried to force restrictions on her

Yeah but look at it from the perspective of me, the reader.
She's comparing herself to OP anime characters while the chat is comparing her to 'real' adventurers.
But for me, she is an OP anime (manga) character, so I'm comparing her to other OP anime characters, and nothing she's done is really out of the ordinary for that set up. It's all very standard, so chat endlessly freaking out has gotten stale.

"Well you think she's kinda poor, but ACTUALLY she's super rich because she has all these high quality materials!" Yeah, makes sense, authors are allergic to holding back when wanking their protagonists so her having all this valuable equipment is normal. I've seen it before where every single aspect of the character needs to be super special.

She also had a bag of holding which everyone freaked out about, but I rolled my eyes because literally every OP anime character has some variation of a bag of holding so the author doesn't need to worry about giving them a limited inventory space or item management or whatever.

While I skimmed ahead and came back when the plot actually picked up, this 'government bureaucracy' stuff doesn't really count. It's just worldbuilding and exposition. The author introduced some aspects of the world only for their OP character to immediately circumvent whatever law or rule they set up. In this manga, it's not a plotline because the girl isn't seeing this rule and then actively working to find some way around it, she already has the solution and just tells chat so they can freak out and tell her how amazing she is.
