WOOOO a new chapter! I always love to see updates on this one.

The king going incognito to walk around town is kind of nice. And Gido not really having a lot of information as well as the Empire playing ignorant was predictable. But the third member of that group ambushing Reinhardt was neat, I totally thought she left to report back to the empire about Nito.

Kind of odd to see our boy no longer being so inconspicuous. For the entire time he’s been around, he’s been low-key. It makes me feel like he can’t stay on this area for too much longer. And his new look is kind of nice, glad they gave him some new clothes and a haircut.

Thanks for the translation!

Its so funny how MC's LOST on his revenge, doesn't know what to do, if its ok to wipe out his classmates as his final revenge since they are the last people on his revenge list apparently

AND MEANWHILE
Looks like MC and the author COMPLETELY forgot that

His revenge spirit god friend or something gave him a MISSION to go to a specific place and find a women in CH 13 that was FUCKING 5 YEARS AGO and he hasn't done anything remotely close to it at all, dude never even asked anyone where that location is :02:

This is DEF one of the SLOWEST paced series I've ever read LMAO :lul:

Well, strictly speaking in terms of storytelling, it's not like this series is actually "good". I feel like I come around to this argument so often these days, as I get older I tend to expect a level of storytelling that just is not present enough on mangas.

Sure there are one or two titles with actual good stories behind them, but from what I see, the majority of the manga released nowadays are from rookies or inexperienced authors, and it just shows.

Most manga don't have a contextualized narrative that it follows, stuff just happens because the author wants it to, not because they are trying to tell a bigger picture.

I don't think it's wrong to want revenge. I don't think it's necessarily wrong to kill the people who legitimately tried to kill you first. But I don't like the way that a lot of manga acts as if killing people wouldn't mess with a person, especially when they grew up not even getting into fist fights.

The fact that he's grappling with what he did, and what he might have to do is more realistic to me. I really like this story.

I know that there are people in here who KNEW it was the king who went to the bar where Nito was. it was too obvious.
but glad they got a talk.
Definitely consider that he might be the king. But I also wondered if he was some kind of former S rank adventure. Someone from another world. Or someone from the empire who just attacked them.

Also consider that he might have some connections to whoever is currently keeping an eye on his fellow students

Oh def, I've even thought about not reading manga anymore because of how much bad writing there are these days and its been that way for a while

"Most manga don't have a contextualized narrative that it follows, stuff just happens because the author wants it to, not because they are trying to tell a bigger picture." I think the reason for this is that it’s easier than ever to become a mangaka but I also think its even easier to get your series axed hence I think why most authors probably don't have a bigger picture because what's the point if their story will end up randomly axed hence they just write what they want because they want to or maybe the managers have more power and dictates what the mangaka should write or they just suck ass at writing in general :nyoron:
