So, no clue if or how long these will stay. If they can remain like this, I would ask to have 78&79 uploaded in the same way as well.

Really not sure how MD is going to keep going given a larger and larger number of groups are holding back chapters time locked on either their web sites or discord channels which may or may not require a donation of some sorts.

But the way that rule is written, you'd think groups like KS Scans or LHT would be banned because they don't actively upload here, so technically they're competing with MD because you have to go to their site to see the latest and greatest unless users actively port the chapters over to MD so it breaks the front half of the rule but not the back half given nothing's paywalled.

The "rules" here have always been applied highly selectively, both when it comes to people and content, so don't expect any consistency. When they are, It's usually a result of some mod or other ego child having beef with someone else.

It's probably a legality thing. If you make money directly off of work then you're liable if the IP owners come knocking. If you are given money to run a website that you at least make a token effort to prevent unauthorized content from being uploaded to, you can at least shed liability and any works that you are asked to remove and keep going. Same reason they added that super uploader-unfriendly clause you have to agree to to upload anything nowadays, and why that big purge happened recently for a big group of works' DMCA or whatever. Mangadex already had to completely restart from scratch (at least once) and they don't want to have to do that again, hence all these measures taken.

I imagine they are running on different servers. Though that doesn't mean loli AI cant mess with the signal somehow.
