There are countless manga that need translating, so if you'd like feedback, choose one that has been abandoned. When you post, the droves of folks waiting on a new chapter will give you feedback. Doing this just ensures people get irritated that you're translating something that is in no danger of being abandoned.

Try this, if you're looking for an unmanned project: https://rawsakura.org/title/sa16472
Nice recommendation, sadly all the previous chapters in MangaDex are getting nuked because of the previous skirmishes.

yeah... this mindset in Japanese familis is quite the standard honestly.... but if you are not allowed to comit mistakes when you are young, when will you be? When ywill you actually learn to live with your successes and failures?

Its like germs man... if you protect them from it all the time, eventually they will come anyway and ruin you way harder than if you let them experience those things from the begining from time to time.

Why not translate something else if you are just going to take it down as soon as the main group translates it?
Probably did it for themselves/friends since they really wanted to see the chapter, and uploaded it for anyone else who wants to see it right away, too.

C'mon man part 2 isn't even out, and you didn't even do the pannel with niina and her grandma, also missing the first 2 commemorative pages and missing sfx. The first half came out this thursday and the next comes on the next one, theres no need to snipe this.

Not cool man

I wonder if there will be a reveal that the father too wanted to be a mangaka but failed.
Anyway, while I do agree in principle that you have to be at least a but pragmatic and realistic when thinking about the future, choosing a difficult career you love is not necessarily worse than spending your life doing a job you hate.
But more importantly, I count this as a proposal, now let's make things official.

If the world was filled with people taking "convenient" choices, we would still be banging rocks in our cages. I understand the father doesn't want his child to be the one to take the risk, but one thing is advising your children and another is forcing them to do what you want. One side you have a father who gives their child the tools to achieve anything even when they fail on their dream, on the other you have a father who gives them only a hammer because the world is filled with nails. What is a person, equipped only a single tool, supposed to do with their lives? Are they going to find a convenient job? Of course, and they might get good enough money, but that is NOT a fulfilling life. There's no guarantee our dreams will become true, but working for them is a lot more fulfilling, knowing you at least tried, than forever regretting never doing it, worse even yet, when you think back with bile at the one person who destroyed your dream from the start. You are no longer a parent in their eyes, you are a source of pain, and you are not sacrificing yourself, you are being egoistic by forcing your ideals and values on your children. You want to mold them into what YOU want, not out of wellness but out of fear and egoism. If Good is what you want, then you don't destroy the paths that someone has, you give them tools and will to confront the dangers and to lift themselves up when adversity strikes. And you give them a hand when they are down, and give them a shoulder to cry, but you do not abandon them and their dreams.

We understand, we will be looking in to this manga, thank you for the recommendation.

We would also like the put out there that this will be a one time thing, we won't be sniping this manga. That was original intentions from the get go. we just wanted to translate a rather popular manga to get feed back on the translation over all. We do appreciate the feedback, and are welcome to more.

further more if you have a manga you'd like to see scanlated that has not been scanlated, please do let us know.

Well, not bad. I think I can understand this.

I liked the translation. The only thing that seems like it needs some work is the text... something about how it is presented, feels artificial. I can't really say for sure. Maybe it's the difference between the resolution between the image and the text. The size of the text seems a bit odd. The original translators also work with multiple fonts, try a bit of that, but also try figuring out why the other translations have a style that works and how it compares to yours. The content of the text is already good, it seems to me, doesn't read awkward.

I can understand her father, but being a mangaka is not the only way for her - animator, designer, graphic artist, if you can draw well there are a lot of professions you could choose from in case you fail with manga, aren't there?
Honestly the fallbacks are probably the better option for 99% of mangaka. Most mangaka are stuck working long ass hours to make deadlines and not earning that much unless your work hits mainstream(and if it does, I hope you had a good contract with the publisher).

Yes, we are just looking for feedback at the moment, any form of it really.
I think you did great so I have a manga ied like you to look at and consider picking it up as it stopped getting updated after 2 chapters 5 months ago and it’s called Vocalize and I think it has potential as a high school romance manga
