The Childhood Friend is trash, and only gets more so the longer the story goes on.
It's astonishing that you're attacking the story but at the same time monitoring its updates and not letting anyone comment until you jump in and attack the protagonist. Now I know what you really want. You want the protagonist to end up only with his childhood friend, so you're upset that this is a harem story and you want to tarnish the protagonist's image to justify the actions of that scumbag, his childhood friend. But no, it's a harem story where he marries a lot of women, so you can cry in the corner over Sasha.
Nah, I don't think she's that bad. She only kicked out because because he was genuinely weaker than the rest of the party and didn't her best friend to die. Sure, she could have said it better but he's the one that over reacts all the time.
Maybe, just my theory, but the fans here are short circuited that their edgelord not edging his lordship self that they are now seeing any attempt of character development as flaws and the force is multiplied. But as i am one of the fans of his former edgelord self, i really miss his glory days being the one edgelord stemming from many compounded misunderstanding where he got a fairly good reasoning to be holding onto.
