It really wasn't, this was a add for the novel.
The real reasonable way to end this would be for the townsfolk to help get her citizenship, as there was the thin of special cases being awarded it. Could have let her settle and end the story. She had enough good will from the people they could raise the case to the ruler.

After all thats happened, she has a quickly made house that she threw together with what was given, not even the one she spent all the time working on.
Basically what she really gained is just travel companions. Nothing else really advanced since the start. It makes you question what was the point of the town at all, she should have just left right away pretty much.

Short, and another one that seems like it was mostly just covering the first ark of a LN to advertise it. But it ends on a satsifacotry note, it's plot is done, and all the important questions we had were answered. The vibe was nice, sweet and cute, so the LN may be an interesting read.

Even as an advert, it didn't work for me. There are other intro arc-only manga that make me want to look for the source material, but this one didn't hook me in by characters, settings, or storytelling.
