ngl, tho, she came in handy this chapter because I also wanted to punch him after he yet again pulled the "I am the ultimate gentleman because I alone recognize that women are too stupid to consent to sex" bullshit.

She is mostly a joke character, it's not as bad as Taiga from Toradora that gives a hateful vibe everytime she is forced into the scene. I would argue that before this chapter she was more of a running gag than a real character at all so I'm glad they decided to give her a personality.

Also, 100% the correct idea to release a chapter every 3 weeks, reading it in 3 parts but weekly doesn't really leave a good impact compared to full chapters.

More than Taiga, I was getting a "did you really try to compress Eris' whole shtick from Mushoku Tensei into like six pages??" vibe from the whole thing.
Say what you will but I had to watch Taiga's failed confession to Kitamura peeking through my fingers, so I maintain that shit was well done.

Seriously, Gretel pisses me off. The girl regularly beats the MC, and doesn't even offer recovery. If the roles were reversed she'd automatically be a villain, because that goes beyond a simple smack upside the head or a silly bonk. The girl has insane strength and just beats MC regularly because of her own frustrations and he doesn'thave special powers or constitution. Then she has the gall to say "Why did you never notice my feelings??"

If I were the princess I'd put her on straight probation. Not one more smack allowed. That's being generous too.....
