Don't worry, no one knows what his deal is eitherIts been a while so I don't really remember what the deal is with Claude.
Sure would be nice if we could get some context to Claude's edgy, snappy behavior towards his fiance, but I imagine almost all of us will still view him as a butt spouting poop at the end of the day, myself included.
It's almost a competition of whether he or Keios is the worse husband-to-be at this point.
I'm just hoping he will not be belligerent towards Nicole. He has no right to be, but if he can ask without being angry he could find out the truth safely. This might be the biggest test of how much he has actually changed. Its been a while so I don't really remember what the deal is with Claude.
Also more Keios suffering, as much as I appreciate him trying to be a better person to Nicole I'm also fine with letting him stew in angst for just a little while longer, as I still think Nicole's independence is the better endgame here.
Agreed! Keios is, ultimately, just childish, and Claude is hostile. It's the difference between growing from zero and from negatives.Considering how sexist he is in saying how Nicole doesn't deserve the scholarship and how women need to basically stay at home has me wishing he would just LEAVE the story already. It's sad how he makes Keios look like an amazing person compared to him.
I completely agree, but for a different reason. The current state of the manga right now is like having two platonic friends going around solving other couples' misunderstanding. And honestly? I prefer this dynamic we're having. And for clarity's sake: I am not particularly invested in Keios improving. It would be nice to see a man knocked down a peg and actually learn, and he has a chance to become a better person, but at the same time why not have a story about not really needing a man in the end? I've been so thoroughly disappointed by many rofan series that decided that the main girlie needs to fall in love and get married and have babies, even as she is independent and powerful in her own right.
