You probably don't even get why he's second-guessing everything. He's a Kanto kid. Understanding Kyoto dialect double-speak isn't easy, especially when the girl actually says what she really wants. She said she likes him, but to him, in Kyoto dialect, that just means he's annoying. That's why the misunderstanding works here. At least learn some basic Japanese culture.

The premise has been done too many times in web novels that I have read and the main character is painfully mediocre with the same struggle of the main girl being too perfect. The only thing I like is the main heroine design is cute and her personality is nice. That's it.

It's like, It could really be a good manga. But knowing how this usually ends, they will make him do all the work on the relationship, which makes me sick.

So far like, she has a ring he gave her, but doesn't show it never, even though she has it on her neck (which was cool, until you really don't ever see the ring after that), she cannot clarify his fillings for his fiance, which makes him feels like shit (i know it's like a trauma and so, but GOD, he could tell when she was with a feaver, why she couldn't tell when he feels like crap), and then he end up looking like a simp, which isn't a good relationship beetwen fiancees, even though she likes him and he does too, but only him is making things clear and her is messing things to worst.

Even so, the manga it's good. But If he ends up taking all the fault when the fight starts, and then he is the one who 'fix' the relationship, then It will be a garbage manga.

I would like him taking the theme out earlier, when he meet his second friend, but shit was fixed up horrible. They are now making 'The Fight', and from what i could see, they are making the good way, but still im scare cause it's manga, and i don't know what they are going to screw up.

If things end up well, i will say BROTHER OF FIANCE'S SAVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP. But I don't want to celebrate prematurely.

Also like yeah, one time she clearly says she is her fiance, but only when people they encounter confused with the mc friend. I know it wasn't the intention, the manga clearly doesn't make you read it that way, but hell she don't ever clarify who her fiance is ever, and only when they confused with the friend of mc (which she hates btw) is that she makes up the mess. Like hell yeah i will think it's trash if they make mc fix the relationship.

And may think mc is a dumbass too, but literally in first episode he confessed his fellings for her and all she did say was "thank you" and nothing else. Then, the other day he ask her explicitly "What was that about 'Don't bother me anymore'?" and she answers like "Why don't you figure it out yourself?" WHAAAAAAAAAAT. (that's why i tell he ends up looking like a simp)

That's why, If they fuck up the one thing that can be good (which they did fucked up with the time, but at least did it at a reasonable one), It will be a garbage manga.

I wanted to like this work but when an MC is generic like this and pathetic in everything and still wins someone over so easily it becomes boring, a character who is uninteresting in practically everything winning someone over just out of kindness makes it seem like romance is something pathetic and simplistic, even more so because the MC says he is in love with the person and can't even hold the person's hand without needing 80 chapters of development

Well, it's technically the oposite. She is the one that is loosing him, so she has to make the right thing in order to not loose him.

Mc is good, his fiance is a mess, and writers fucked up, but at least they are fixing it somehow.

Even though he misunderstands everything, he doesn't stop loving her for a single second, while he acts pathetically in every possible way, and she ends up liking him more and more just because, in the midst of all that, he was kind. Kindness doesn't sustain a relationship; it's important, but if that were all that was needed, people who lived together for 20 years wouldn't get divorced.

Romance isn't something simplistic; summarizing everything as kindness demonstrates a lack of romantic experience and, on top of that, makes it seem easy to the point of being frivolous in your actions.

Yeah, i get it. Now im trying to search something with some kind of romance and man, what the fuck?

I mean, if it isn't an action manga, romcoms or romance gender is going shit. Even action manga has even better romance writing being not the central attention of the story.

Every mc are literally the same, no exceptions. And all loving reasons are simply stupid, so now you could say its better search for an action center manga than a romcom or a center romance manga.

Like in this manga, "Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me manga", they literally had a 'cheating' fight because someone picture the moment the mc was being hugged by his childhood friend and someone took a picture of it. Everyone in the school heard the rumor, her girlfriend caught him with childhood friend (they were talking about what was happening) and missunderstood everything and all was literally ruined. How the story solves the problem?

"Friends MC: hey, your girlfriend is with some handsome guy really close. sends picture

Mc: WHAT rush over to the place but the man was actually his uncle, then they talk for like two seconds and puff, boyfriend and girlfriend again"

WHAT THA FUCK. YOU MADE A PROBLEM ABOUT IT, AND NOT A SIMPLE ONE; A REAL HUGE DEAL TO SOLVE. AND YOU JUST GO AND SOLVE IT IN THE WORST WAY AND IN ONLY ONE CHAPTER AFTER THE PROBLEM BEGGIN?!! ARE YOU NUTS?!

So yeah, I stopped reading that manga (not only because of that, but it was the thing that make me do it) and realized romcoms or romance genders are cursed.

And not to offend, but 'The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity' has literally the same proble. GIRL YOU JUST SEE HIM ONE TIME, AND YOU JUST FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM BECAUSE HE BRING YOU A FRIKKING CAKE GOD DAMN.

So frustrating... A relationship is all about communication and being on the same page. FL can't even bring herself to let him know that she still uses the ring. And the ML... One thing is devotion another thing is lacking any self-respect... Also what's up with "yeah I only went to Tokyo because of my grandpa, including moving to your school". Dropped.

I want to enjoy this story and the fmc is cool but it’s just soooo unmemorable like reading a few chapters and putting it away to pick it up tomorrow and have absolutely no idea what’s going on is so irritating. This is probably the most unmemorable story I’ve ever even read, 5 chapters in and some pages just don’t work and how they always talk about dialect this story was NEVEE supposed to leave Japan. To get how unmemorable this is I can remember Vagabond’s entire conflicts and character tropes and the absolutely incredible arc I read and give a long ass summary and detail it with enough description to probably pass my English exam and I read that back in APRIL. This manga, however, has a hard time staying consistent with its own dialogue and momentum just falls flat on its face every page. Shit I don’t remember anything after the first few pages. How does chapter 1 even END?!?! There’s 0 consistency, 0 uniqueness, 0 substance, hell I can’t find anything that can keep me interested with this. It’s definitely dropped even though I rly didn’t want it to be.
