Girl, you were upset that you weren't related and now you changed your mind? She really is like her mom in how she wants to plan everything to their advantage. Hope the brother can escape this family
I think it's more about revenge, for Moe. She's not trying to get her father, so much as she's trying to beat her mother, treating the dad like a gamepiece.

I'd feel less bad for Ken if he hadn't been so hellbent on trying to force his family back together. He had a chance to get out and away already, but has since sorta given that up, it would seem.

Huh, after last chapter's ending I thought for sure What's-her-bitch would be on Jonathan's ass about moaning Moe's name in his sleep.

I don't think that she was upset because they weren't related, but that she thought she might get abandoned if her dad found out she wasn't really his daughter.

I just can't believe this guy. He was already thinking about this shit back then about how it might not be his, and then he just forgot about it for some reason? And now he's thinking about it like it's a new possibility once again?

IMO, Moe will use a drug or something else to cause her mother to miscarry :worry:

EDIT : I've finished to check the raws and Moe is really fucked up, more than I thought.

As a child of divorce, I totally get on why he would want his parents together. Plus, Ken was barely in college when his parents split up. He seems like a very emotional person compared to his sister. He values peace over chaos.

Very fair.

On the flipside--this isn't "peace" so much as a veneer of normalcy that is mostly just Goto subjugated under Akemi's antics.

There's nothing saying Akemi will suddenly stop her historic behavior because she's now carrying Goto's child. Ken isn't wrong for hoping, but he already wants his sister Moe gone (again, understandably). But my read is Ken just wants his father and mother under one roof; not his family.
And it comes across as selfish, because even as he knows at least some of what all is going on, he's seeking his own satisfaction and wants over the wants and feelings of any of the others.

And it's a meta call, but it's not lilely to last, much less last long. He doesn't know that, of course, but my comment was based on the narrative direction and his character within said narrative.

I can sympathize with him as a person, but he is simply desiring 'negative peace', over anything that could actually be called a stable home life.
