I don't know, I get this is suposed to represent a growth to Rakudou and all but it is like Ranna-san said, he tells her to not fight but go getting himself into fights. Rakudou is becoming exactly the type of person he hated.

1. Chromosome are the ones who started the fight, it's not like Harikura could just ignore them. Besides, Rokudou was asked by the Sumire siblings to help them, he didn't waltz into Chromosome's base looking for trouble.
2. The whole point of Rokudou standing up to Iinuma waay back in the beginning of the series — was to show that he wasn't going to change or improve if he kept hiding or running from his problems; so, he chooses to fight back to grow.
Rokudou hates needless violence. He hates bullies. People that start fights for no reason, or bully those weaker than them. He still dislikes violence and fighting in general — but if it's for self-defense or to protect his friends, then Rokudou will step up to the task.

Edit:
3. It's not that Rokudou is necessarily being hypocritical with asking Ranna not to fight. He just wants to deal with his problems by himself, and feels ashamed to constantly have someone else save him. Ranna doesn't listen (for the better, though) to him, and keeps coming back to protect him. It's a matter of her thinking practically of his safety, and Rokudou not wanting to lose his pride.

Doesn't matter, his actions are still the exact thing he is telling Ranna-san not to take.
It is not like Ranna-san was going to start something she was just going to solve the problem through violence same as Rakudou is doing...
