It's been said that they're of different subrace earlier despite being siblings or cousin (rabbitfolk and wolf/dogfolk), seems like the culture is written here to allow marriage between subraces even with blood relations (seems like an intentionally written trope too)Wait a minute he was engaged to his sister? Now I'm glad that the engagement was annulled. Why does Japan try to put incest into everything? It's disgusting.
There's a very common saying about how you can't write a character that's smarter than you unless you try really really hard and most authors don't want to put in the work so they just make intelligence and luck more or less the same thing and make everyone else Dumber that way the character seems smarter. A lot of authors also mistake intelligence for always being right. Someone can be really really smart and still make mistakes.Just rushing from chapter 1 to the most recent, chapter 10. Not very good, but not too bad. Not so good because many details are left out, and some of them appear to be luck rather than intelligence or skill. It was good because the story did not include any unnecessary plot and went straight to the point.
And I thought I was bad reading…Wait a minute he was engaged to his sister? Now I'm glad that the engagement was annulled. Why does Japan try to put incest into everything? It's disgusting.
As you said, they don't really want to put in the work. Or, sorry to say, they can't. By their own shortcomings, editorial demands, or deadlines. All they can do is have the general plot outline, and resort to plot armor and plot manipulation to control the story flow. There's a very common saying about how you can't write a character that's smarter than you unless you try really really hard and most authors don't want to put in the work so they just make intelligence and luck more or less the same thing and make everyone else Dumber that way the character seems smarter. It kind of excuses his idiocy if he's inbred. And I thought I was bad reading…Holy sh@t this Idiot was engaged to his.
I mean... bloodline purity is an international thing. It's gross, but most royal lineages are highly incestuous. Japan does kind of glorify it for some reason, but having a Eurocentric royal family engage in sibling incest is probably the most realistic part of this entire storyWait a minute he was engaged to his sister? This and it's only been only recently that it's been stopped, about 75yrs. It was also usually with cousins as it was a way to keep the family's power concentrate.I mean... bloodline purity is an international thing.
