Big fan of how this is shaping up.
I'm glad we're getting hints on why Mashiro is acting the way she is toward Chiaki. The fact that she is really hoping that Chiaki will end up getting all egotistical about this and starts "looking down on" Mashiro is almost funny; feels like she's in Cope Mode, hoping that her senpai is just like all the others from before so that she can justify leading her on, breaking her, and then dropping her to cause the most damage.
Chiaki being as earnest and straightforward as she is should create a good dynamic there. Mashiro's convinced she'll be the one to lead Chiaki on and then drop her when it'll hurt the most, and Chiaki just wants a relationship where she feels like she can be actually treated as a person and not as some pedestal'd ideal like she is at work.
Working at cross purposes, but they really do work together, as seemingly incongruent as they are. And I suspect both will learn a lot from whatever's being built between them (for better, worse, and in pursuit of comedy).
Thanks for the TL.
