Yes, that was actually what got me to start translating this manga, because I had no idea it existed till the anime!
They even used some of my TLs. Other ones they didn't and you can tell it's MTLed, oh well. It was nice to see them animated and have voices, yep.

lol there are cute vids of pets riding roomba but one time i searched on youtube and it auto filled out to like "poop being spread by roomba" or something XD
cute worker cat tho i feel like a door to door salesman might get lost or distracted easily (wonder if there's competitive rivalry)
there was a cute chapter of Pun-tan (neko oji) also riding a roomba with mitarashi
a kitty uprising would be quite something. other than distracting them occasionally i'd think even a stricter/disciplined human would still 'give in' once a month or so /find compromises so there's not too much naughty behavior
although while strays prolly would be uncommon i wonder if there's some fully independent cats that do work and own enough to rent an apt themselves, depending on the laws. (tho could spin it into a sad story about someone having a human who they inherited a house from)

Cats are allowed to live homeless (Maru was) so seems like in such a cat-centric society they should be able to own a home... but who knows. Maybe the taxes and paperwork are just too much of a hassle... but you'd think a rich kitty could hire an accountant. I think Nekoha is just making it up as he goes along.

I mean i don't know if the cat tax would apply to them, maybe there's empty places they squat in. or a nice open field like "i like this" and some humans being willing to build something small for them. i can totally imagine them living in like a tree house or a thick hollowed out tree
