I didn't know about the School Days anime when I read the manga. The manga was traumatizing because

there was no real hint of anything bad going to happen. It was just a fluffy typical shounen love triangle manga. Then suddenly in one of the ending chapters (or was it the last chapter?), in one panel out of nowhere, one of the FMCs just slices the throat of the other. I looked up the anime and saw that the progression of events was actually hinted at so hard with MC sleeping around and stuff. MC and the relationship dynamic is totally different in the manga adaptation than the anime
