How was it?
Still as good as I remembered.

It blends comedy, story-telling, life lessons and more into one nice, perfect smoothie for all (well, almost all) to watch.

I especially loved how, despite the large cast of characters, it manages to make you connect with almost every last one of them equally. While Nagisa may be the de-facto main character, the writing and presentation are done so well, it's as if everyone was intended to be the main characters, even when they start to introduce new students into the fray.

And if it was intended, goddamn did they succeed in that front.

Koro-sensei (yes, technically his name is a spoiler, Kaede gives him his signature name at a later episode) is basically the perfect teacher. And we all love him, even if he wants to destroy the Earth.

Season 1 was a blast. At first, it's extremely fast-paced and might drive off some of you with a low tolerance to action, but as you start to learn more about them kids, you begin to root for them more. Some of you'd think you'll hate that octopus through the whole show, but after episode 22, I don't think you'll all be despising him anymore.

Season 2? Oh gosh. The emotions. Dem feelz. When everyone's had their backstory told, there's only one person left: that damn octopus. And boy, by the final episode, them tears will be dropping down faster than a kilogram of feathers.

TL,DR? Highly recommend watching. It's absolute cinema, as the kids would say.

You watched One Piece? I could never binge-watch that hell of a show :nyoron:
i have (you would KNOW that if you checked my ANILIST!). i'm probably 20+ episodes behind right now, but i catch up in batches, usually watching at 1.5x-2x speed (though i never sped it up for the first 700 or so episodes).

fortunately The One Piece will come out eventually (Feb 2027 tentatively), so it should be easier to get into as it'll probably be condensed around 2x-3x

Man this reminds me that I need to catch up to one piece again. I put it on hold after wano ended. Where is it now? Is it halfway through egghead-nya?
