Single page is fine, i like double page for the double spreads, which single page messes up on. I personally use single page when i'm reading manga on my phone, and double page when i'm at my pc

and if you use long strip on desktop then you should be confined.

I used long strip when I started reading Saiki K on my chromebook (I didn't know the other options existed...)

I like double pages, and I switch it right to left too. Helps when a double page is split in two.
